ABOUT ME
GOTTA SING, GOTTA DANCE
Driving cross country in my '74 yellow Dodge Dart, I arrived in Los Angeles with a music degree in one hand, silver lame' tap shoes in the other, and an intense desire to take the stage by storm come what may. What I encountered was a strange new world in the entertainment industry filled with people fueled by fear and jealously along with rampant substance abuse. I quickly understood that no matter how talented I was, this would not be a lifestyle for me. So while I was singing and tap dancing my way into hearts of millions... I mean dozens... I began taking classes in anything I found interesting. California had all kinds of things to study not found in the mid-west: meditation, shiatsu, yoga, ESP, tofu cooking, massage, tai chi and the list went on and on. I just kept sampling from the banquet of life, not really realizing that what I was seeking was a new direction. The classes kept circling me back to hands-on healing modalities with a connection to spirit.
NOT ALL YOGA IS RELAXING
One day, while in the most intense yoga class on planet earth, we were given a handstand series that included a sequence of 4 inversions, with 5 repetitions, held for 20 ujjayi breaths in each pose. I completely tore muscles in my upper back and could not lift my right arm for 6 days. I had 5 different treatments in 5 days... chiropractic, massage, laying-on-of-hands, and acupressure... all to no avail. I still could not raise my arm. And then somebody suggested acupuncture.
ACUPUNCTURE? REALLY!?!
How would you even find an acupuncturist back in the early 80's? They were not on every street corner like today. So I got a referral to someone an hour away in the distant recesses of the valley and off I went. Two needles and I had complete use of my right arm in three hours. Whoa! I was immediately enthralled with such amazing results. The experience was so profound I thought, "I want to do this!" Helping people achieve such dramatic results would be so great, even though I never wanted to go back to graduate school. But four years later with a Master's Degree in one hand, acupuncture needles in the other, and armed with an intense desire to heal the world… I opened my own private practice.
BANG A GONG, GET IT ON
Very shortly after opening my business I met a man from France who integrated Oriental Medicine with the discipline of martial arts and sound and color frequency healing. What? Here was a way to combine my undergraduate degree in music with my graduate degree in acupuncture. Sign me up for four more years of study! Orchestral gongs, bells, tuning forks, color bottles, and color silk fabrics are now part of my every day healing sessions. What once took me 3 - 6 treatments before the addition of sound and color, now only requires 1 or 2 sessions to get positive results. It’s amazing! I love changing people’s lives for the better.
IT’S YOUR TIME TO SHINE
When you come to see me for a treatment, it’s all about tuning in to you and zeroing in on what healing modalities will work best for you. Every session is different. No two people get the exact same treatment. Combining multiple techniques into one hour-long session is very successful at attaining immediate results.
YOU CAN FEEL GREAT RIGHT NOW
My passion and drive to learn about the healing arts has kept me constantly seeking more. So over the past 20 years I have become fluent in Japanese, Native American, and Ancient Hawaiian healing techniques. My knowledge of crystal healing and the use of essential oils enhances all the other modalities I use. My training as a medium shines when employing Theta Brainwave Healing or channeling your loved ones. The use of sound and color frequencies allows me to amp up your life force while clearing anything that may be impeding your health and well-being. I am always on the lookout for a new course of study to provide you with the best healing possible.
